Piqué explains why he likes Messi more than Maradona

The Barça defender attended the media at the press conference prior to the match between SSC Napoli and FC Barcelona, where he answered several questions. One of them was the debate between Lionel Messi and Diego Armando Maradona as the best player.

Gerard Piqué had a complicated appearance after the controversy of social networks within the club, but he knew how to take it naturally and with the tables that characterize him. Apart from this hot topic, he also expressed his opinion between the two Argentine soccer players and, as it is not surprising, he swept home opting for La Pulga:

“From Maradona, I think everything has been said, right? A unique player in the history of football, a player who gave a lot to this sport, who went through FC Barcelona and, obviously, also by Napoli. And that will be remembered forever. But come on, if you ask me between Diego or Leo, what I think is the million-dollar question, I have lived it closely and that I have had it as a partner for so many years, I stay with the regularity of Leo and the magic that it does daily for so many years. ”

The Catalan defender and the Argentine attacker have been together in the club since summer 2008, also adding their tour in the lower categories before the Erasmus of Gerard Piqué at Manchester United. Since then, they have added four Champions Leagues, eight editions of LaLiga, six of the Copa del Rey, six of the Spanish Super Cup, three of the European Super Cup and three Club World Cups. In total, there are 30 titles together.
